🎄 Christmas Is in the Air at Olé Spanish for Everyone! 🎄

The festive season has arrived, and the halls of Olé Spanish for Everyone are alive with the spirit of Christmas! From our youngest learners to our most advanced students, everyone is gearing up for the celebrations. Alongside our Spanish language journey, we are embracing cultural traditions from Spain and across Hispanoamérica.

Our incredible team of franchisees, teachers, and tutors hail from diverse regions, including, Cordoba, Sevilla, Vitoria, Alicante, Valencia, Madrid, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Argentina... This diversity allows our students to explore how Christmas is celebrated through different traditions. From the mouthwatering turrón in Spain to the colorful fireworks of Venezuela or the sweet panettone shared in Peru and Ecuador, our lessons this month are filled with the flavors and warmth of Hispanic holiday customs. Parents, be sure to ask your tutors about their favorite Christmas food and drinks—they’ll have stories to share!

Spreading Joy Through “Adopta un Abuelo” Initiative

This year, we are proud to support the heartwarming campaign, Adopta un Abuelo (Adopt a Grandparent). Over the next two weeks, our students will write heartfelt letters to elderly individuals living in care homes across Spain who may face a lonely Christmas.

The idea for this initiative came from one of our Franchisees, Zarala at Greenwich & Medway, who inspired us with her research into writing meaningful and cheerful letters. It’s a beautiful way to connect across generations and spread kindness.

The project kicked off on Saturday with Lucas and Rosa leading the charge, creating touching letters for Juana, who lives in Albacete and is 86 years old. She will receive the card from Lucas and Rosa and I am sure she will be thrilled. The message from both Rosa and Lucas truly captured the Christmas spirit. ¡Muy bien chicos! We’ll continue to upload these letters and showcase our students’ creativity and compassion.
