October Spanish Workshops: A Joyful Journey of Learning and Wonder!

At our October Spanish Workshops, the air is filled with happiness and wonder as children immerse themselves in the vibrant world of the Spanish language. For a few magical days, they dive into a whirlwind of activities—games, drama workshops, arts and crafts—all led entirely in Spanish. It’s an opportunity for children to be free, express themselves, and take part in both indoor and outdoor fun, all while learning a new language in the most engaging way possible.

Our workshops are not just an extension of our weekly Spanish lessons; they are an essential part of the learning journey. With more time to explore and engage, children have the space to internalize the language and begin to “normalize” grammar structures in a natural and playful way. Over the past 20 years, we’ve perfected these events to ensure every child gets the most out of the experience. The variety of activities exposes them to Spanish in different contexts, giving them the chance to express various needs, ideas, and feelings while having the time of their lives.

As October rolls around, we bring a special cultural twist. While Halloween may not be a traditional Hispanic festival, we celebrate Los Santos and Día de los Muertos, introducing children to customs and traditions from Spanish-speaking countries. Through storytelling, crafts, and games, they learn about the importance of this festive season while still getting the joy of carving pumpkins—adding a familiar touch and highlighting the beautiful differences between the cultures.

Our workshops are beloved by children, who leave not only with a new set of vocabulary but also with songs, stories, and memories that will stay with them for a lifetime. We host these workshops across North London, Greenwich, and Brighton, bringing the joy of Spanish to young learners everywhere.
